Trump now ‘understands’ Covid-19 after falling ill, Walter Reed doctor calls Trump’s drive-by stunt ‘insanity’
President Trump says he now ‘understands’
Covid-19 after he and the first lady were diagnosed with the virus. Doctors have said the president is now doing well and could be back at the White House on Monday.
“I learnt it by really going to school. This is the real school, this isn’t the let’s-read-the-book school,” he said in a message released just before his controversial drive-by outside the Walter Reed Medical Center, where he is being treated.
“And I get it, and I understand it. And it’s a very interesting thing and I’m going to be letting you know all about it. “In the meantime, we love the US and we love what’s happening.”
