Is Joe Biden unfit for office? or does the President Biden cognitive test need to be carried out now, to test he is fit for office. That is the question that has been searched on google the most over the last month.
It has been promoted after several claims by Republicans and former President trump, that ‘ Joe is not all there ‘ and is not sharp enough to manage the Oval office. Calls began flooding on social media when the President lost his chain of thought during a speech and this was not the first time.
According to US Representative Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician-turned-congressman has claimed that US President Joe Biden has “serious health problems” that will only get worse with time, because of which he will be “forced to resign from office.”
Jackson, who served under the tenures of former presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, says President Joe Biden is “ineligible to run for office because of serious health problems.”
The former White House doctor who gave a glowing report in 2018 about then-President Donald Trump’s cognitive abilities is calling on President Joe Biden to take the same test.
Biden cognitive test – challenged by the Doctor
President Biden is the oldest serving US president and Ronny Jackson went on to say that if Biden, 79, does not resign from his office, he could be forcefully removed under the 25th Amendment.
U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson, Texas, led a group of 14 Republicans who sent Biden a letter on Thursday telling him to take the trending ‘ Biden cognitive test ‘ and make the results public.
The letter was promoted after Biden cognitive ability was questioned after he went Joe Biden goes on incoherent ramble after becoming confused during EU summit
“I think he’s either going to resign — they’re going to convince him to resign from office at some point in the near future for medical issues — or they’re going to have to use the 25th Amendment to get rid of this man,” Jackson said, as quoted by New York Post.
Biden is set to have a physical later this year, and the White House pledged in May to release the results to the public.
It is believed that Biden has been having issues with remembering things, as he got stuck several times while talking to reporters on Wednesday. A month ago, Biden had to take a leaflet out of his pocket to read while replying to the reporter.
The Trump campaign made Biden’s mental fitness a major piece of its 2020 campaign. In campaign ads and rallies, Trump sought to paint Biden as mentally unfit to serve, passing the slogan ‘ Biden Cognitive test ‘ suggesting his mental fitness has been a regular target for misinformation spreading online.
US Rep Ronny Jackson has sketchy past
In October, Jackson joined a Trump campaign call with reporters and said he was convinced, based on campaign gaffes, that Biden “does not have the mental capacity, the cognitive ability to serve as our commander in chief and head of state.”
Jackson’s credibility was called into question in 2018, when he stepped to the White House podium and declared that Trump, despite his junk food diet, had “excellent” cardiac health, scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on a cognitive test, and was exactly one pound below what is considered as “obese.”
Jackson chalked it up to Trump’s “incredibly good genes, and it’s just the way God made him.”
More recently, Jackson was the subject of a scathing, embarrassing Defense Department inspector general’s report that said the then-White House physician made “sexual and denigrating” comments to female subordinates; consumed alcohol on presidential trips in violation of protocol; and during one of those trip, banged on the hotel door of a female colleague in the middle of the night and told her “I need you.”
Joe Biden: ‘Why the hell would I take a cognitive test?’
President Trump has previously spoken highly about his own results and has suggested that Mr Biden is not in the best mental state.
Joe Biden disagreed with this suggestion and said he looked forward to the presidential debates.
