Denise Russo’s cause of death has been confirmed after the 44-year-old star died earlier this year.
Russo was reportedly found unconscious at a friend’s home in San Diego back in March.
Despite attempts to resuscitate her, she was later pronounced dead.
Following a police investigation, it has been revealed that she died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
It came after drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.
Her cause of death was confirmed by the San Diego County Medical Examiner.

They informed TMZ that despite ‘aggressive attempts at resuscitation,’ Russo lost her life to meth and fentanyl.
Russo’s death comes after her co-star and friend Susie Stenberg told the outlet earlier this year that, at the time of her death, Russo was homeless and living in her car.
She described the late actress as ‘the most loving and loyal person.’
It’s said she called her pal the night before she died to tell her that she loved her.
The X-Life fans will remember Russo for appearing on the reality show in 2011.
It ran for just one season on VH1, and revolved around extreme athletes and the women in their lives.

At the time of the show, Russo was romantically involved with Canadian professional skater Pierre-Luc Gagnon and they were together for three years.
However, by the season finale, they decided to take a break.
Russo and Gagnon eventually did reunite and welcomed a son together, Leo Wolf, who is now seven.
Taking to Instagram at the start of the year, Russo shared a loving tribute to her son.
Her caption read: ‘To my Lion Wolf, you are the reason the sun shines bright in the sky, why the moon glows, is full and the stars twinkle.
‘Leo you are why the world is good baby and magical. Thank you for being my son my cub! Love of my life, no one compares to you.’
