The La Muela City Council has approved a reduction in the IBI tax rate for the installation of solar panels in homes. Specifically, a 50% bonus is established on the full tax rate on buildings whose cadastral use is predominantly thermal or electrical energy from the sun, that is, solar panels, during the 10 tax periods following the end of the tax period. the installation.

This is the second modification that has been made, since the first, published on November 15 in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zaragoza (BOPZ), focused on lowering the tax rate on urban goods from 0 .70% to 0.65%. A decrease that represents a 7.14% reduction in the tax burden for citizens.

This decision has been adopted in response to the Budget Settlement for the 2023 financial year of the La Muela City Council, which shows a budgetary result of 2,319,999.53 EUR, as well as a treasury remainder for general expenses of 15,796,343.53 euros.

In addition, during the month of April 2024, the La Muela City Council has received and collected the transfer of 5,340,102 euros in the municipal bank accounts, corresponding to the acquisition of the municipal plot by Microsoft in the fifth phase of the Polígono Industrial Centrovía, together with the rest of the sector, to develop its business project in the municipality, as indicated by CHA in the La Muela City Council.
