Tesco shoppers face huge change as stores axe key services
The Sun says TESCO customers are facing a big change after the chain said it will shut its remaining delis and hot food counters.
Shoppers will no longer be able to buy hot and fresh food such as meat, fish and more from delis and counters from February 26.
The supermarket has already started axing these services from the majority of its shops, starting the process in 2019.
The retailer said it had seen a big drop in demand for the use of its counters in recent years, with customers opting to buy pre-packaged goods instead.
The closures will be a blow to shoppers as sometimes you can get a better deal on your shopping by opting for deli items – such as big yellow sticker discounts on items like fish.
