Strictly star ‘splits from partner’ just weeks after finale
Tasha Ghouri has reportedly split from her boyfriend Andrew Le Page, just weeks after the Strictly Come Dancing final.
The pair first met on Love Island in 2022, and they quickly ticked off relationship milestones â meeting loved ones and purchasing their first home together. They were seemingly besotted with Tasha, 26, even sharing hopes that they would eventually get married.
However, after a busy few months of Tasha competing on Strictly with professional partner AljaĹž Ĺ korjanec they have grown apart, it is claimed. It is said that they quietly went their separate ways earlier this month.
âTasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly,â a source told The Sun.
âShe gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.â
On Friday, Tasha will be heading off on the nationwide tour for Strictly, meaning sheâll once again be away from 29-year-old Andrew.
âThey talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and sheâs pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman,â the source concluded.
The publication also claims that Tasha is now on exclusive dating app Raya, where she describes herself as a âNorthern girlyâ who is âalways smiling and laughingâ. They shared alleged screengrabs of her profile, which featured pictures of Tasha that were previously on Instagram.
Despite the reported split, Tasha was pictured looking upbeat as she left the Strictly castâs Birmingham hotel for rehearsals earlier today. The crew were heading to Utilita Arena ahead of the first show later this week.
She braced the January cold in a giant grey fluffy coat and smiled as she walked in front of Aljaz, 34. The dancer previously teased to Metro that itâs up to his daughter Lyra, who he shares with wife Janette Manrara, whether he continues on the show.
Tasha has been sharing small updates from the tour, which doesnât include show winner Chris McCausland due to other commitments, on her Instagram account. Earlier today, she shared a picture with opera singer Wynne Evans, describing him as her âtour bestieâ.
Before taking part in the BBC show, Tasha said she was unbothered by the Strictly curse and was confident in their relationship.
âAndrew, to me, is the hottest man on this whole planet,â she stated.
âI look at him and Iâm like: âYeah, thatâs my man!â Me and Andrew trust each other 100%.
âItâs not a make-or-break for us. Weâre going to breeze through this because weâre going to marry each other one day, you know?â
Tasha and Andrew finished fourth on Love Islandâs eighth series, which was won by Ekin-Su CĂźlcĂźloÄlu and her now ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti. She made history as the dating showâs first deaf contestant.
