Celebrities have been arriving for the star-studded GQ Men of the Year Awards 2022, with the likes of Stormzy and Louis Theroux leading the pack.
The prestigious annual celebration celebrates the public figures who in the past years have used their platform to make a positive change, with this year’s nominees including rapper Stormzy, Sir Mo Farrah and more.
Each year the awards’ red carpet arrivals promise glitz, glamour and A-list celebrities, and the 2022 event is no different.
Snaps from the arrivals hall saw documentary maker Louis looking dapper at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel in London, in front of a sign bearing the magazine’s name along with Boss, which has partnered with GQ for this year’s event.
Rapper Stormzy looked cool and confident as he posed for cameras a smart dark suit, complete with a white shirt and black tie.
And Star Wars icon John Boyega, best-known for playing Finn in the world-famous franchise, looked incredible in an all-cream outfit, which included a turtle neck, along with gold jewellery.

Star Wars wasn’t the only major franchise represented on the GQ red carpet, with Marvel star Andrew Garfield – who returned as Spider-Man in No Way Home last year – looking sharp in a black suit and shining black shoes.
Game of Thrones fans were also treated to a glimpse of the brilliant Emma D’Arcy of House of the Dragon fame, who wore a dynamic leather suit, their hair dyed a bright pink for the occasion.
Also in attendance was US actress Sydney Sweeney, best-known for her role in the record-breaking teen drama Euphoria as well as LGBT+ Netflix show Everything Sucks.
The actress looked incredible in a unique figure-hugging black outfit which cut away at the chest to reveal a shining corset.

Also in attendance were 2020’s biggest breakthrough actors, Normal People’s Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal, with Daisy breathtaking in a shimmering, sheer dress and black high heels.
Irish actor Paul – who is reported to be engaged to musician girlfriend Phoebe Bridgers – posed on the carpet with Charlotte Wells, the director of his acclaimed new flick Aftersun.
Paul kept it slightly more casual, donning an open collar and semi-tucked shirt – as well as the chain that sent hearts racing across the world in the spring of 2020.

New breakout artist Jack Harlow, basking in the success of his track First Class, certainly looked the part in an all-black outfit including a black bowtie, as he gave a slight smile for the cameras.
And veteran actor James McAvoy looked as confident as ever on the red carpet as he attended with his sister Joy, the pair looking sharp in a tuxedo and black dress respectively.
British Olympic diver and TV personality Tom Daley was also snapped with his husband, Justin Lance Black, each looking spectacular in dark suits.

US actress Salma Hayek was also among those gracing the red carpet, looking absolutely divine in a plunging red dress that showed off her figure.
Fellow actress Sabrina Dhowre Elba – wife of Idris Elba – also looked incredible in a retro outfit which featured a high-neck pearl necklace, elbow-length gloves and a plunging neckline.

Actor Will Poulter, whose career has seen him make the move from child star to leading man, was looking dapper in a cut black suit and white shirt,
Catastrophe and Bad Sisters star, Irish actress Sharon Horgan, hit the red carpet in a cream suit and unique blue belt, her honey hair in waves to her shoulders.
Sports icon Alex Scott also wowed in a gorgeous high-neck patterned dress, grinning easily for the cameras.

The glamorous event was held at one of London’s most luxurious hotels, located in the heart of Knightsbridge, which draws celebrities year-round.
A total of 26 stars were honoured at this year’s awards, including Batman star Zoe Kravitz, who was named superhero of the year, and Max Verstappen was honoured as athlete of the year.
Other nominees include Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae, documentary legend Louis, actor Stephen Graham and UFC champion Leon Edwards.

GQ also paid a particular tribute to actor Brendan Fraser this month, as he’s set to appear as the cover star for the magazine’s December issue.
In a candid interview with the star, Brendan admitted he would not go to the Golden Globes if he was invited amid the major success of his new film The Whale, as in his words, he’s ‘not a hypocrite.’
