Slowthai has announced an intimate UK tour that will see him play in pubs and independent music venues, with tickets costing just £1.
The Grammy-nominated rapper and musician, born in Northampton, recently gave details of his upcoming third album, entitled Ugly.
Ugly, which will be released on March 3, will feature brand new single Selfish, the music video for which was unveiled late last month.
In support of the album, Slowthai, 28, whose real name is Tyron Kaymone Frampton, will be heading out on the Best Night of Your Life pub tour.
The tour, which spans six dates and will take the My High hitmaker from London to Sunderland and to Blackpool, begins on February 23.
Speaking about the decision to charge so little for tickets, Slowthai said that he was inspired by the current cost of living crisis.

‘I make music for myself but I wouldn’t be where I am without my fans. It’s important to me that people can have access to me and my music.’
He continued: ‘I wanted to go to some new places and play this album first.’
Fans can sign up for pre-sale until February 9, and the pre-sale itself will take place on February 13, before general sale opens on Wednesday, February 15.

According to reports in the NME, the tour has been organised in partnership with Jägermeister, who are also financially backing the shows.
‘Times are tough for a lot of people and working with Jägermeister has helped me keep tickets to only a quid,’ he explained.
The tour will finish in Slowthai’s hometown of Northampton, at The Black Prince pub – The Black Prince’s owner couldn’t hide his excitement.
Phil Moore, the venue’s promotions manager, said: ‘We’re over the moon to have our local hero gracing our stage again.’
