Selena Gomez wasn’t expecting such a savage response when she jokingly used a TikTok filter to answer why she’s single.
The Only Murders in the Building actress, 30, has been open about the highs and lows of her love life in the past, following high-profile relationships with Justin Bieber and the Weeknd.
Taking to TikTok, she decided to have some fun with filters – and shared the hilarious moment that one shaded her ‘bad taste’.
In the brief clip, she could be seen grinning while playing with one filter, which asked: ‘Why am I single?’
After running through a series of options, it happened to settle on one brutal reason, informing the Lose You To Love Me star: ‘You have bad taste.’
Selena’s face was a total picture as she read the answer to herself, as she could be seen exclaiming to someone off camera.
Alongside the upload, she joked: ‘Well thats rude tik tok [sic].’
This isn’t the first time that the Disney alum has made light of her love life and relationship status on the platform, as a recent video showed the moment she subtly informed some athletes that she is single during a football match.
Sitting on the sidelines while taking in a game last month, she could be seen yelling: ‘I’m single!

‘I’m just a little high-maintenance. But I’ll love you so much.’
She captioned the video: ‘The struggle man lol.’
Selena’s TikTok antics come at the end of a rollercoaster week, which saw Only Murders In The Building land a whopping 12 Emmy nominations.
Ahead of the ceremony, slated to take place on September 18, the acclaimed series has been mentioned in a string of categories, including outstanding comedy series.

However, while Martin Short was recognized for his efforts as the iconic, dip-loving Oliver Putnam, and was named in the lead actor in a comedy series category, his co-stars didn’t land nods.
Steve Martin and Selena Gomez missed out on being nominated for their roles as Charles-Haden Savage and Mabel Mora respectively.
Nathan Lane was the only other cast member who received a solo nomination, praised for his stint as Arconia resident Teddy Dimas in the outstanding guest actor in a comedy series category.
He also took home the same trophy at last year’s bash.
