The Sunday Times – Accused: Russell Brand, the ‘sex predator’ who hid in plain sight 

The Sunday Times, which broke the allegations of rape and sexual assault against Russell Brand earlier on Saturday, leads on the story.

The paper describes him as an alleged “sex predator who hid in plain sight”, saying rumours of “sinister behaviour” were “said to have been an open secret” in the industry.

One woman tells the paper that when she was 16, the comedian called for a taxi to pick her up from school and take her to his home. She says the driver recognised the destination and begged her not to go inside. Another woman describes Russell Brand’s eyes turning “black, like the devil” when he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
