Storm Keating has shared a message of grief in her first social media posts since the tragic death of Ronan Keating’s brother Ciarán.
The elder brother of Boyzone star Ronan died in a car crash in County Mayo, Ireland, in July.
It’s understood he was travelling to watch his son play in a match when the accident, which left his wife Annemarie injured, occurred.
Ronan carried Keating’s coffin at the funeral in Louisburgh and performed a song during the ceremony, but has deleted social media as he deals with the devastating loss.
Now Storm has spoken of her grief for the first time as she shared a heart-wrenching post to Instagram.
The mum-of-two posted a quote to her page which reds: ‘And she’d be lying if she said she did not sometimes think of the could-have-been moments, and the should-have-been memories.’

Alongside the quote, she wrote simply: ‘Grief.’
Storm was flooded with messages of love and support from friends and fans, with one saying they were ‘thinking of you all,’ and another writing: ‘Love to you and all the family at this sad time.’
One person shared the painful advice that ‘you will grief forever… you’ll learn to live with it. You will be whole again but you will never be the same.’
Keating had been on his way to watch his son, Ruairí Keating, play for Cork City FC against Sligo Rovers FC when he became involved in a road collision with two other vehicles.

At the funeral service in the days after his brother’s death, Ronan sang This Is Your Song, initially penned in memory of his mother Marie, who died of breast cancer in 1998.
‘I shouldn’t be singing it in these circumstances but we are and we will,’ Ronan told the service.
Former Boyzone bandmate Keith Duffy was amng those supporting the family at the funeral, and was one of the first to express his condolences and post a memorial message following his death.
He shared fond memories of Keating coming on tour with the band, which also included Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, and Shane Lynch.
‘Ciaran from the early days you toured with us you were a great guide on our journey in the early days You helped and supported us young innocent kids. Take your place in heaven buddy with your Mam Marie ❤️.’
