Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits the club are working on a deal to keep Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford and that doing so is a ‘priority’.
The England forward has been in sensational form for the Red Devils this term and he’s already matched his best ever scoring campaign for the club, with 22 goals to his name so far this season.
Rashford’s contract had been due to expire at the end of the season but United triggered a 12-month extension clause in his contract at the end of 2022.
The winger was contemplating his future at the Theatre of Dreams last summer after an unhappy campaign under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
Paris Saint-Germain confirmed interest in signing Rashford last summer and they recently reitterated a desire to sign the forward, though they would now wait until January 2024 to sign him on a pre-contract agreement.
Rashford, though, appears happy at United once more and Ten Hag says United are working on a deal to keep him.

Of course it’s a priority but we are working on that,’ Ten Hag told Sky Sports about a new deal for Rashford.
‘Sit, wait but in the background we work hard. Of course [we have to keep him].
‘I said previously that when he is happy, it gives him energy. It gives him a good mood and then the goals will come. He has such great skills to finish goals.
‘I don’t know [if he was unhappy before] but on the first day I met him I said that: ‘I want to see you smile, I want to see your teeth’. Then it’s okay!
‘We see it often [now] and I think he’s in a happy place. The whole dressing room is in a happy place, there’s a lot of confidence and belief in this squad.’
