Prince Harry hinted his new Netflix series will delve into his wife’s pained entry into the royal family and its similarity with his mother’s turbulent marriage.
The duke warned he ‘didn’t want history to repeat itself’ in a second teaser clip released today, which features photos and video of Meghan Markle and Princess Diana.
In the clip, Harry narrates: ‘The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy. I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.
‘No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.’
As he speaks, footage shows his mother facing paparazzi outside Buckingham Palace, linking this to media coverage Meghan faced after marrying Harry.
These clips have already been criticised after it emerged old news footage was used to show photographers hounding Harry and Meghan.
What producers actually used was live coverage of press trying to get snaps of Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen leaving for prison.

The first episode of the ‘global event’ will come out on Thursday and feature commentary from friends and family.
Netflix says most of the contributors have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed.
Historians will also discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press.
‘The series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other,’ a Netflix spokesperson said.
