The i newspaper – Post Office knew second IT system had faults but prosecuted staff anyway 

The i reports that the Post Office allegedly knew a second IT system had faults but prosecuted sub-postmasters anyway. The claims come amid an ongoing inquiry over the wrongful convictions of Post Office staff due to failures in another software program.

The paper says the Capture system was installed in 1995 and that sub-postmasters have told the paper they were wrongly fired and prosecuted when issues arose.
