Paul Burrell is reportedly set to ‘strip naked’ in this year’s annual The Real Full Monty.
The nervous new recruits will be baring all to raise awareness of life-saving cancer checks, while also bringing old-school glitz and glamour to the supersized strip.
And the former royal butler, 63, who worked for Diana for a decade up until her death, – is appearing alongside the likes of Dancing on Ice skater Vanessa Bauer, and reality star Ashley Cain.
A source shared: ‘It was incredibly emotional for both Vanessa and Paul during filming but they knew by taking part they would help to make a difference and get people checking themselves.’
An insider added to The Sun: ‘Naturally there were lots of laughs along the way — getting your kit off on camera makes people incredibly silly but it was all very good fun.’
At the end of January, Paul tearfully announced his prostate cancer diagnosis.

He invited Lorraine viewers along to his first meeting with his cancer consultantand although the camera crew wasn’t allowed inside the consultation room, Paul explained exactly what had gone on once back outside the hospital.
‘I’ve just been to see the consultant. It’s a lot to take in,’ the TV personality began. ‘So, I’ll go in for a two-hour procedure and they will inject radium into my prostate. And then recovery.’
The close confidante to Princess Diana then urged viewers to get checked and go for ‘a simple blood test,’ to detect possible signs of prostate cancer early on.
He said that he was ‘lucky’ to have caught his when he did, as ‘there are thousands of men out there who don’t have symptoms.’
‘You’ve got loads of lovely female viewers who can say to their men, “Go get tested”,’ he told the Scottish host.
Paul was catapulted into public life when he served as a footman to the late Queen Elizabeth II, as well as a butler to Diana, Princess of Wales.
At just 18, he worked as the Queen’s personal footman for a year, with the late Princess once describing him as her ‘rock’ after they grew close.
