Palestinian prisoners set fire to cells

Wednesday, the authorities in the Israeli Occupation attacked prisoners across the Occupation’s 23 prisons.

Five of the six inmates who carried out Monday’s “prison escape” operation are members of the Islamic Jihad movement, which claims that the Israeli occupation poured its anger on other members of the movement within Israeli prisons.

During the campaign, Israeli Occupation authorities limited inmates’ break time, prohibited visits, and moved Islamic Jihad prisoners from the Naqab desert prison.

According to initial information, fighting erupted in the Naqab prison after the Israeli occupation began moving Islamic Jihad movement prisoners, and the prisoners protested by burning several cells.

According to the Prisoners Authority, the attacks on the prisoners have reached a “extremely dangerous” stage and are on the brink of increasing significantly.
