NYPD breaks down NYU tent camp of students who were protesting an anti-Israel genocidal policies at New York University and the New School.
The NYPD came at the request of under pressure college officials on Friday morning, arresting more than a dozen protesters, including professors.
The police officers detained 13 protesters as they ordered demonstrators to disperse from the encampment on the lower Manhattan campus.
These scenes look like they are from the Middle East or Russia; freedom of speech has taken a hit this week. You would never have thought to see these images on an American Campus.

Police officers also started dismantling the encampments at The New School and Parsons on Friday morning. At least 43 people were arrested at the New School campus, with many injured by the heavy-handed police tactics, law enforcement sources said.
The tent encampment at NYU had been up since April 26, and the students have been protesting agiant the genocide in Palestine, which the US is party to.

Police officers stormed the students in riot gear helmets, battle ready and began shifting through the tents and other debris from the demonstration like a storm wave.
NYU has been under pressure from Israeli lobbyists to end the protests. And were forced to call the NYPD to come on to the campus and clear the protestors.
The NYPD is known for its brutality and violence and protests were fearing the worst as the battle ready boys in blue lined up to raid the encampment.
On Tuesday an officer fired their gun during the brutal raid on Hamilton Hall at Columbia University. So the students laid down surrendered immediately. The protesters were cleared from the area on Friday morning.
NYPD was tasked with clearing out the academic building after anti-Israel protesters voiced there concerns and defied the administration’s threats to evacuate.
Political commentators have voiced their concerns over protecting free speech in America, with the older ones reminiscing the similarities between today’s protests and the ones in the 70’s led by the ilks of Martin Luther King.
