Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) is feeling nothing but pressure in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, as Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) meddling starts to gnaw away at him.
Nick discovered what Damon was really up to moments before Jacob (Jack James Ryan) left Weatherfield.
The teen confessed everything, revealing his dad was smuggling drugs through the deliveries and isn’t planning on stopping.
Due to the fact Leanne (Jane Danson) doesn’t know anything about the money Nick accepted from Harvey (Will Mellor), she believes Damon is just your standard businessman wanting to do improve the bistro.
However, next week, that all changes.
With the restaurant fully booked and money from customers pouring in, Leanne realises they need an extra pair of hands – so Damon arrives.
Working behind the bar, Damon switches his charm on as his shift gets underway and Nick watches him with growing unease, of course fully aware of his real motives.
As the week continues, Nick gets a call from the school, informing him that Sam (Jude Riordan) has been in a fight.
The young lad explains that he used some of the moves he learnt from Damon on Conny, a school bully, and Nick is furious.
On the edge, Nick is left with no choice but to tell Leanne that Damon is Harvey’s brother and is shipping drugs through the bistro.
But what does the future hold for them?

‘Going forward it will be interesting to see if Nick and Leanne can patch their relationship up’, Jane Danson recently said.
‘She needs space to work out how she feels because I don’t think she even really knows how she feels, she’s not had the chance to digest everything that’s happened. It’s a big thing to forgive but Nick and Leanne have got through a lot over the years so who knows?’
