Many of Tuesday’s front pages lead with the latest on the Liverpool Hospital taxi bombing suspect after he was named by police as Emad Al Swealmeen.

Another leading story for the papers is on the Covid booster jabs being made available to those over 40. The PM is calling on those eligible to come forward for their booster jab amid rising cases across Europe and fears for a tough winter ahead.

The identity of the suspected suicide bomber in Liverpool is the front page of Tuesday’s Daily Express. 

The Daily Mirror also splashes on the suspected terrorist in Liverpool, named as Emad al Swealmeen.

The Guardian reports on how the UK terror threat has been raised for the first time in months in the wake of the Liverpool hospital explosion.  

The wife of Liverpool taxi driver David Perry says he is ‘lucky to be alive’ after a suspected suicide bomber blew up his cab, the Metro reports. 

The Independent reports on the UK threat level being raised to ‘severe’ following the taxi bombing in Liverpool. The upgraded threat level means further attacks are ‘highly likely’.
