Netflix has revealed the title of the Stranger Things season 5 premiere, delighting fans worldwide who were celebrating Stranger Things Day.
The international event takes place on November 6 every year to mark the date that Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) first went missing in the popular sci-fi series.
This year, Stranger Things devotees were treated to big screen showings of their favourite episodes and were provided some big news about season five.
In order to finish the day of celebrations on a high, Netflix gave everyone their first proper glimpse of what’s to come in the final set of episodes.
Season five is expected to be the last season, and the official Netflix account tweeted out the title of its first episode, The Crawl, delighting fans everywhere.
Never a group to miss the opportunity to speculate, the Stranger Things fandom is convinced that it means beloved Eddie (Joseph Quinn) is back from the dead.

‘Tell me they haven’t teased with a Stranger Things episode title that absolutely reeks of Eddie Munson’s return and then just left us like this!’, one fan posted.
Another said: ‘As the grateful fan that I am, I love this. We have an inkling but it’s just enough suspense to creep me out, can’t wait! My poor baby Eddie.’

One other fan joked: ‘I’m making outlandish connections and stupid theories on how The Crawl could relate to Eddie – the delusion is strong today folks.’
Some viewers went one step further in their investigations and found that Metallica’s Master of Puppets contains the word ‘crawl’ in its lyrics.
Master of Puppets became synonymous with Eddie during season four when he shredded like a rock god to distract the evil creatures of the Upside Down.
Fans are now convinced that, because of the song’s lyric ‘come crawling faster, obey your master’, Eddie is going to crawl back from the dead.
Master of Puppets re-entered the UK charts in July after its iconic appearance in Stranger Things, reaching its highest position of number 22.
