Daily Express – Middle East on precipice

The Daily Express says The Middle East could erupt into a wider conflict after Iran warned that Israel’s onslaught against Gaza “may force everyone” to retaliate. The paper features a large image of the damage caused by Israeli airstrikes on Gaza yesterday. The headline also reports that the humanitarian crisis is growing more desperate in the area. 

The front page also pays tribute to Matthew Perry. The US actor – best known for his role on the hit US show Friends – was found dead at his LA home on Saturday. It’s believed the 54-year-old actor drowned in his hot tub.
