Olympique Marseille are interested in signing Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri, according to reports.
Mejbri joined United from Monaco in 2019 aged just 16, in a deal that could cost the Red Devils up to £10million.
While he is still only 19-year-old, the midfielder has struggled for game time at Old Trafford, making just three senior appearances, though he has featured a lot for the youth teams.
This season, Mejbri has been out on loan at Birmingham City, where he has made 19 Championship appearances, 12 of them starts, recording three assists so far.
The Blues are currently 16th in the table, but are only four points of the play-off places.
He was also part of Tunisia’s World Cup squad but played just 10 minutes in Qatar as a late substitute against Denmark.
However, while it seems he is progressing nicely, it remains to be seen whether he can breakthrough into Erik ten Hag’s team when he returns from his loan.

And if he fails to impress the Dutch manager, The Sun report that Marseille could make a move for the player, having enjoyed success with struggling Premier League youngsters in the past.
Former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is currently thriving at the Ligue 1 side, as is Gunners loanee Nuno Tavares, while William Saliba, one of the Premier League’s best defenders this season, also excelled on loan at Marseille last campaign.
It is not clear whether Marseille want Mejbri on a loan or permanent deal or whether they would move for him in January or next summer, but a transfer may help his development.
If he were to move to the Stade Velodrome, he would be joined by several ex-United teammates including forward Alexis Sanchez and centre-back Eric Bailly who is on loan for the season.
