Love Island star Adam Collard has admitted he’s dating again and is a bit of a ‘hopeless romantic’ – despite his history on the reality dating series.
The 26-year-old returned to the villa in what was the biggest shock of last season where he left before the final with Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne, although the pair called it quits not long later.
Adam had first entered the reality dating series in 2018, where he was coupled up with Zara McDermott, and the couple even moved in together before going their separate ways.
But Adam is now dating once again, and calls himself a ‘hopeless romantic’.
He said: ‘As much as I have been a little bit ruthless in the past with relationships and yes I’ve ended things when it has started to not work out, I am actually a bit of a hopeless romantic.
‘I do think there is someone for every person and I want to go and do all the things I like to do with someone else.’
The fitness influencer continued to The Sun: ‘I want a wife and kids as much as the next person.’

He elsewhere told the publication that he called things off with Paige, saying it ‘is probably a little bit my fault’ and he had taken time to ‘process’ if their relationship was actually going to work.
This comes after Adam teased a return to the Love Island villa for a third time.
He previously said: ‘I’d consider Love Island for a third time, but I don’t think producers would have me back as I was too soppy and didn’t cause enough drama.’

Shortly after leaving the villa for the second time, Adam had opened up about what made him want to return.
‘You are getting a few followers, if you have a business like me it’s going to help amplify that and that put you in a better situation and there’s going to be loads of really good opportunities afterwards,’ he said in a YouTube video.

‘So yes, everyone comes on and says I am here to find love and that, yes you kind of are and obviously that is unreal but nobody is daft.’
‘Everyone has seen Molly-Mae absolutely smash the hell out of life and to be fair she has smashed the hell out of her relationship [with Tommy Fury] as well but even if you can get a little piece of that, if you have been in the villa for long enough, you know you are going to be pretty set up for life,’ he added.
Love Island returns on Monday, January 16 at 9pm on ITV2.
