Metro’s lead story reports that there is growing backlash to Los Angeles elites – including Hollywood celebrities – over reports that they are hiring private firefighters to protect their homes and properties.
The paper’s front page say celebrities including Kim Kardashian have been accused of “hogging water for garden sprinklers” and rental prices have rocketed as landlords take advantage of the vulnerable.
Strong winds have returned leading to fears of the wildfires spreading.
