Katie Price might have found huge success on reality TV, but she’s made her brutal views of this year’s Love Island summer series abundantly clear.
The ITV2 competition is inching closer to the finale, with islanders including Whitney Adebayo, Lochan Nowacki, Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde still in the running to walk away with the £50,000 prize.
Maya Jama has been hosting the show, entering the villa to drop bombshell news on the contestants and delving into the latest drama on Sunday’s sister show Aftersun.
However, according to Katie, the current season of Love Island hasn’t met her expectations.
In a TikTok live, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant first asked her viewers who had been watching the show this year.
The 45-year-old then added, according to The Sun: ‘It’s just so set up now that it’s coming to an end, isn’t it? I just think it hasn’t worked this year.’

‘None of them are solid couples and the parents are going in to meet them. Not for me,’ she added.
However, the model did have a clear favourite islander, revealing that she likes Whitney, who’s also proven massively popular with Love Island fanatics on social media.
While Love Island might not be completely up Katie’s street this year, she is hopeful that her children Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, who she shares with her ex-husband Peter Andre, will follow in their parents’ footsteps by going on I’m A Celebrity.

‘I’m A Celebrity has to be the best reality show, Junior and Princess really want to do I’m A Celebrity,’ she said on a recent TikTok.
‘I just hope that the show is around long enough for them because I think that it has gone downhill a bit, personally.’
Katie recalled some of her most vivid memories from being in the jungle in 2004, remembering the sound of crickets in the evening and the smell of the bonfire.
‘It really is a unique experience,’ she summarised.
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
