Julian Sands’ cause of death has been deemed ‘undetermined’ after he died aged 65.
The A Room With A View actor went missing in January while hiking in the Californian mountains.
He was missing for five weeks before and, despite the best efforts of his family and responders, was unable to be found alive.
A public information officer for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has now issued a statement.
Speaking to People, their update marked the final cause of death on British star’s death certificate.
The officer clarified that his cause of death was ruled ‘undetermined due to the condition of the body and this is common when dealing with cases of this type.’
