Johnny Depp’s supergroup band The Hollywood Vampires cancelled their show in Budapest this week with no explanation.
The band, made up of actor Johnny, as well as rock star Alice Cooper and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen, were formed in 2012 and have so far released two studio albums.
Hollywood Vampires have also toured around the world, and on Tuesday were due to take to the stage in Hungary, but the show was cancelled last minute, – an hour before doors.
The band had been teasing the show earlier that day, waiting on social media: ‘Tonight we rise in Budapest, Hungary!’
But just hours later it was announced the show was cancelled and refunds would be issued.
There was no real explanation given, other than a message reading: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Vampires will be canceling tonight’s show in Budapest.’

They added: ‘We love and appreciate all of the fans who traveled from near and far to see us rise, and we’re truly sorry.’
The band members, who range in age from 59 to 75, also shared the announcement to their personal accounts.
While some fans were, understandably, irked that the show was cancelled so late in the day when many had travelled and paid for hotels, the comment section was awash with supportive – and concerned – messages.
One wrote that they hoped it was ‘technical issues or weather related and that all of you wonderful vampires are okay,’ adding that they ‘wouldn’t have cancelled your show without good reason.’
Another said: ‘So sorry you’ve had to make that difficult decision, just hope you are all ok,’ while another agreed they ‘hope everyone is well and nothing serious has happened.’

‘Now I’m worried,’ one admitted. ‘I hope details will follow.’
The band cancelled so close to showtime that fans had already been waiting outside for doors to open, with some sharing photos in the comment section and voicing their disappointment.
So far there are no further details on what led the gig to be cancelled.
The Vampires have a pre-scheduled rest day today, Wednesday 19 July and on Thursday are due to perform in Slovakia.
It comes after the group were forced to postpone some US shows after fracturing his ankle in May; the gigs are now due to take place at the end of this month after the Vampires return from Europe.
