James Bond fans have voted for their favourite Daniel Craig era theme tune and Casino Royale’s You Know My Name claimed victory by a landslide.
In celebration of 60 years, teams behind the James Bond franchise asked fans to unveil which famous theme tune tickled their fancy during the Daniel Craig 007 movie run.
Offering them a choice between five tracks, Twitter users made the decision between Billie Eilish’s No Time To Die, Sam Smith’s Writing on The Wall, Adele’s Skyfall, Another Way To Die by Alicia Keys and Jack White and Chris Cornell’s You Know My Name.
Fans of the films’ iconic score quickly commented who they felt deserved the top spot as the best music for a Daniel Craig Bond appearance and the choice was clear.
Cornell’s You Know My Name seemed to get a resounding nod of approval from the secret agent movies’ supporters.
From over a thousand comments and likes, the track that became synonymous with Casino Royale was shown the most love by people that credited it for being the missing ‘punchy’ tune the other films lacked.

Reacting to the call out, fans let their feelings be known with one tweeting: ‘You Know My Name – love the way it’s a song from Bond’s perspective. Feels like they are normally ABOUT him or the villain.’
Another wrote: ‘Cornell by miles, then white and keys, Adele’s is atmospheric but nothing special the others are awful’, in reference to the winning song. ‘
Adding to the landslide victory, this fan also cited the movie from which the music was from as the best film full stop: ‘There is simply no substitute for Chris Cornell and “You Know My Name”. This is also the best Bond movie there is, in my opinion.’

Penning a love letter to the American artist, one Cornell fan typed: ‘You Know My Name is the best Bond theme of DC’s era.
‘Incredible vocal from the one and only Chris Cornell. Perfect theme to relaunch the character for a new era.
‘It’s like an audio kick in the face, hard-hitting, exciting, like Bond. The last few themes were a bit too maudlin.’
You Know My Name was written in 2006 to act as the sound of Casino Royale, the 21st Bond film to be made in the franchise.
Starring Daniel as 007, the story follows the agent as he embarks on a mission to prevent a mob banker from winning a high-stakes poker game.
