Former President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka did not attend her father’s 2024 presidential bid launch and does not plan to be a campaign surrogate for him.
Ivanka, who served as senior White House adviser to her father during his term, spoke after Donald announced his third presidential campaign at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night.
‘I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,’ Ivanka told Fox News Digital. ‘I do not plan to be involved in politics.’
She continued: ‘While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.

‘I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.’
Donald’s oldest child, Donald Trump Jr, also missed his father’s announcement ceremony. Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, who also served as a senior White House adviser to Donald, and Trump Jr’s fiancé Kimberly Guilfoyle were in attendance.
