Kerem Shalom crossing: Israeli protesters hold up aid trucks to Gaza
Israeli protesters, including families of hostages in Gaza, have obstructed humanitarian aid trucks from entering Gaza for a third consecutive day.
At the Kerem Shalom border crossing, they waved Israeli flags and chanted against “aiding the enemy,” demanding no aid for Gaza until all hostages are released.
Despite a US call for uninterrupted aid to civilians in Gaza, the protest has caused delays at the crossing.
On the first day of protests, only nine trucks managed to cross at Kerem Shalom, with 114 redirected to the Rafah crossing in Egypt, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
