Idaho murders suspect Bryan Kohberger was seen for the first time since his arrest as he was lead into a Pennsylvania courthouse for his extradition hearing.
Kohberger, 28, is suspected of murdering four University of Idaho students in November.
Kohberger will appear before a judge in Monroe County, where he is expected to waive his right to extradition. His hearing is scheduled for 3.30pm.
Monroe County Public Defender Jason LaBar said his client was ‘eager’ to return to Idaho.
‘Mr Kohberger has been accused of very serious crimes, but the American justice system cloaks him in a veil of innocence,’ LaBar stated. ‘He should be presumed innocent until proven otherwise — not tried in the court of public opinion.’
Once Kohberger has been seen before an Idaho court, investigators will be able to release more information about the suspect.
