Juliet urged Imran to chase his dreams (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) broke down in tears in Hollyoaks as she said goodbye to Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana), begging him to not forget her.
Imran, as fans know, was tempted by a job offer in London, making the decision to leave the eponymous village and move to the big city with brother Sami (Rishi Nair) to start a new chapter.
Upon finding out that Juliet’s cancer is terminal, however, he reconsidered, telling Misbah (Harvey Virdi) and boss Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) that he simply cannot depart when Juliet needs him.
Misbah was adamant that her son couldn’t pass up on an opportunity such as this one and therefore she asked Juliet to assist her in changing the young man’s mind.
Juliet organised a special afternoon with Imran and Brooke Hathaway (Tylan Grant), which saw the trio play games in the park. Brooke soon left as part of a plot orchestrated by Juliet, so that Jules and Imran could have a heart-to-heart.
Imran made it quite clear that he was staying put to support her in the wake of her terminal prognosis, but Juliet was insistent that she would prefer him to chase his dreams.

What’s more, she wanted him to remember her the way she is now.
Imran, emotional, decided there and then that he would do as Juliet requested and leave for London, with the best friends sharing a hug, as Juliet begged him not to forget her.
No, you’re crying.
