‘He’s Don it again’! – Trump wins presidency
Some of the US front pages reflect more updated reports regarding the US election, whilst others, due to time zones, are already old news!
Only a handful of papers declare Donald Trump on the cusp of winning the election whilst others went to print long before those indications became clear.
The more updated front pages also highlight the news the GOP has won back the Senate and that Donald Trump appears to have won the popular vote.
‘Contest like no other,’ says USA Today.
USA Today reports the ‘contest like no other’ saying it has shaken the ‘old order’. The paper features pictures of people standing in the rain waiting to vote.
‘Election news has lifted US stocks,’ reports The Wall Street Journal.
The Wall Street Journal says Donald Trump has the advance as he wins the key battleground state of North Carolina. The paper also notes the Republicans have taken control of the Senate. Trump has also won the popular vote.
Elsewhere the paper reports the election latest has lifted US stocks.
‘Harris team pinned hope on Blue Wall,’ reports The Washington Post.
The Washington Post says “Trump gains ground”. The paper says Harris’s team have “pinned hope” on ‘Blue Wall” as a path to victory. Other articles on the front page cover the news the Republicans have won back the Senate and Donald Trump’s winning of the key battleground state North Carolina.
‘US splintered nation,’ claims The New York Times.
The New York Times describes the United States as a “splintered nation” and features an image of people lining up to vote.
‘He’s Don it again,’ says the New York Post.
New York Post has a more up-to-date front page. The paper says “He’s Don it again” saying it’s the comeback for all ages.
‘GOP takes control of the Senate,’ highlights The Boston Globe.
The Boston Globe says it’s “down to the count” saying that Trump appears to have the lead. The GOP is set to take control of the Senate, the paper adds.
