The i newspaper reports the BBC’s director-general is set to announce a review of its rules for presenters on their use of social media after the corporation suspended Gary Lineker for his tweets criticising the government’s asylum policy.
The paper reports that Lineker is set to be reinstated as Match of the Day next week and also reports on growing pressure on BBC chairman Richard Sharp to resign.

The deal will hopefully create ‘thousands’ of jobs in the UK.
