Love Island fans had a bone to pick with finalist Samie after they accused her of interfering with Lana’s speech.

On Monday night’s episode, the final four islanders gathered around the outdoor area in the villa for the last time as they geared up to deliver their famous speeches.

Dressed in evening wear, one by one the contestants poured their hearts out to their significant others in a bid to be crowned Love Island’s winners.

However, eagle-eyed fans were less than impressed as Samie delivered her words to her footballer beau Tom.

Earlier in the day, the girls were treated to an afternoon at the spa where they were also tasked with writing a love letter to rival the best of them.

Lana opened up to her fellow girls and told them: ‘This is just chapter one, chapter one of a long book.’

Viewers then watched Samie laugh as she joked: ‘That’s good, write that down’.

Later on, the couples watched as each individual spilled their feelings in front of the villa’s swimming pool.

It was during the third-place couple’s – Tom and Samie – moment that fans became agitated at the brunette bombshell.

Samie began: ‘You wrote a poem for me and now it’s my turn.

‘I know we’ve had our ups and downs but your beautiful poem turned it all around.

‘I can’t wait to do life with you, I really have fallen for you. I know you’ve got me and I’ve got you. We’ve completed chapter one, now bring on chapter two’.

Audience members were quick to point out the rising star’s blunder as one penned: ‘Samie just fully stole Lana’s “chapter one” idea?! Snaaaaaaaake to the end [sic]’.

Another wrote: ‘So Samie stole Lana’s chapter line’.

‘She just stole Lana’s line omg,’ was a further comment left by a viewer of the popular dating show.
