Web-shooters have swung back into Fortnite, along with a pair of new Spider-Man skins, and here’s how you can get your hands on them.
To celebrate the release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Fortnite is teaming up with Marvel once more for a new Spider-Man crossover event.
Although players were eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Miles Morales skin at the beginning of season 3, they were pleasantly surprised when it suddenly dropped a few days ago, along with Spider-Man 2099.
The Spider-Man web-shooters are also part of the crossover and while they’ve been renamed to Spider-Verse web-shooters their functionality remains unchanged.
This mythic item isn’t just about boosting your in-game mobility, though, it’s an absolute must for tackling several of the new Spider-Verse quests.
Where to find the Spider-Verse web-shooters in Fortnite
To get your hands on the Spider-Verse web-shooters in Fortnite, you’ve got two options. You can either wait until you stumble upon them as floor loot or head over to Slappy Shores and strike a deal with Spider-Gwen herself. She’ll gladly sell them to you for 600 shiny gold bars.
Sure, they might be a bit on the pricey side, but if you’ve been stacking up your gold, don’t hesitate to give them a whirl.

How to use the Spider-Verse web-shooters in Fortnite
Once you gear up with the web-shooters, you can effortlessly swing around like Miles. All you have to do is aim the web-shooters in your desired direction.
Keep an eye out for a white circle appearing on the surface you’re targeting. When it pops up, it signals that the web-shooters will securely latch onto it.
Just like the ODM Gear from Attack On Titan, the web-shooters have a limited number of charges before their energy runs out but you can activate them a maximum of 80 times.
The web-shooters also have a cooldown period, meaning once you stop swinging continuously, you’ll have to wait a few seconds before using them again.
If you use a single charge, you’ll have to wait four seconds, and if you use two in a row you’ll have to wait for eight seconds in total.
Then, if you swing three times in a row, the cooldown stretches to a whole 12 seconds. Once you reach the fourth swing, buckle up because the cooldown will always be a solid 16 seconds, no matter how many swings you take afterwards.
If you want to complete your Spider-Man look, the Miles Morales skin is available for purchase at the price of 1,500 V-Bucks (around £10), just as we predicted.
