Evacuations as new blazes break out in Greece
New wildfires have broke out leading to evacuation orders for areas close to two central Greek cities.
Those in areas around Volos and Lamia have been told to move to safety as the country remains in the grip of a severe heatwave.
Wildfires are continuing to sweep the islands of Rhodes, Corfu and Evia.
So far, more than 40 people have died in Greece due to the wildfires. Greece is just one of many countries battling severe wildfires and extreme heat.
Two people are confirmed dead in the fires near Volos – a farmer who died after he went to release his sheep to protect them and a woman who was in a mobile home.
