The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 may well be over but it is not forgotten, with four acts entering the UK charts.
The long-running competition, which was held in Liverpool, took place last week and was hosted by the likes of Graham Norton and Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham.
After a night of jaw-dropping and unforgettable performances, particularly from host Mel Giedroyc and her milk-churning, Sweden’s entry Loreen was crowned champion for the second time, having first won the Eurovision 11 years ago.
And the buzz from the glitzy event has not worn off, with four Eurovision artists – unsurprisingly, one of them being Loreen – simultaneously securing top 10 UK hits for the first time ever.
The Euphoria singer’s winning entry Tattoo led the pack and secured the number 2 spot followed by Finland’s act and runner up Käärijä who came in at number 6 with Cha Cha Cha.

Cha Cha Cha also breaks another record by becoming the first-ever fully Finnish song to enter the Official Singles Chart.
Despite a disappointing result at last week’s grand final, coming second from last, the UK’s Mae Muller’s I Wrote A Song secured number 9, while Norway’s Alessandra’s Queen of Kings rounded off the charts at number 10.
Reflecting on all her glory, Loreen said: ’Im absolutely overwhelmed by all the love and support that I’m receiving right now, especially from my UK friends that’ve been with me since day one.

‘The UK’s become my second home, and to receive a new peak there with Tattoo means the world to me. Thank you for being a part of the journey. Together, we’ve created history.’
Mae, meanwhile, called reaching the top 10 a ‘big deal’ and thanked all of her fans for their support.
‘I cannot thank you guys enough,’ she continued. ‘It could not have happened without you, without the UK getting behind me.
