EE has confirmed new customers will have to pay £2 a day if they wish to use their data, minutes and texts in 47 European countries from January.
Meanwhile, O2 is introducing a data cap of 25 gb for pay monthly customers, after which point they will have to pay £3.50 per gb when using data in Europe.

Some analysts have suggested that the mobile phone companies taking advantage of the lack of certainty provided in the Brexit agreement.
