Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has suggested Mason Greenwood could have a future at the club under him, but says the decision is out of his hands.
Greenwood is currently suspended by the club as they launch their own investigation into his arrest in January 2022.
The striker had rape and assault charges dropped in February, which technically means he is free to continue his club career again.
The club’s investigation is likely to be completed this summer, with all options still on the table.
Ten Hag is desperate to sign a top centre forward this summer but Tottenham look set to resist a £100m move for Harry Kane.

And, in an interview with the Times, Ten Hag has suggested he’s an admirer of Greenwood by saying he’s shown his ability in front of goal for United.
‘[He] showed in the past that he is capable of doing that [scoring goals for United],’ said Ten Hag.
The Dutchman then clarified that a decision over Greeenwood’s future would not involve him, and will be made by the club.
Ten Hag spoke with Greenwood over the phone in February but the striker has not been back at the club’s training ground.
