Mack snuck off for a secret chat with Chloe (Picture: ITV)
Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) has a lot on his plate at the moment, after being questioned by the police over his involvement in the cover up of Al’s murder in Emmerdale.
With all that going on, it was naturally the perfect time for him to find out that Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), who is pregnant with his secret baby, had collapsed.
Sarah (Katie Hill) broke the news to a shocked Mack and Charity (Emma Atkins), who raced to the hospital to be by her side.
Chloe was overwhelmed by the turn out, admitting that she didn’t think that many people in the village cared about her.
The trio were relieved to discover that she and the baby were fine, and that her collapse and bleeding were the result of a low-lying placenta, which can be dealt with through a lot of rest and potentially a caesarean section when it comes to the baby’s birth.
After hearing that she had been staying in a hostel, Sarah and Charity tried to convince Chloe to come back to the village, promising that they would be there for her.

Of course, the fact that Chloe is carrying Mackenzie’s baby makes that a slightly awkward situation.
Mack, however, was undeterred by this, as he promised to look out for her and the baby during a private discussion.

It seemed as though only Chloe was aware of the potential consequences if Charity found out the truth. Unwilling to face her wrath, Chloe made it clear that she could raise the baby alone.
With Mack wanting to play a part in the baby’s life, will they work something out? Or will Charity get wind and cause carnage for them both?
