Julie doesn’t believe Amelia’s claims (Pictures: ITV)
The men of Emmerdale were determined to help Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) out in Thursday’s (July 13) episode of Emmerdale.
Ever since Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) own struggles with his mental health, his male friends made a pact to always be there for each other and, when possible, meet up and talk.
We’ve seen this in the form of Paddy and Bear (Joshua Richards) going fishing, Jimmy (Nick Miles) chatting to his mates over a cup of tea and tonight, Cain (Jeff Hordley) decided Dan should join a game of cricket at the pavilion.

Dan has been receiving a lot of support as of late, as he’s currently awaiting a potential prison sentence after attacking a stalker called Lloyd.
Lloyd found Amelia’s (Daisy Campbell) social media page and decided to meet her at the salon. Lloyd is a creepy and disturbing pervert and, after winding Dan up, ended up in hospital following a punch in the face.
If Lloyd dies, Dan will face time behind bars but right now, he’s in a coma, which means it’s simply a long and painful waiting game until something happens.
Dan enjoyed his day and was even awarded man of the match by David (Matthew Wolfenden), but his happiness was short lived when Lloyd’s wife arrived, who was furious to see him laughing while her husband remained in a coma.
We know that Julie’s perception of Lloyd is completely different to just about everyone’s. She believes that Lloyd is a kind man who uses his spare time to complete charity work and has been passionately defending him whenever someone said that he’s a disgusting person.

As she got in her car and prepared to return home, Julie confronted Amelia.
Julie made comments about the police being in the village again and said that Dan punching Lloyd was courtesy of Amelia getting him riled up.
Once again, as soon as Amelia uttered the word pervert, Julie leapt to Lloyd’s defence, saying that he works from home all the time and watches young people document their lives online as a form of escapism.

Julie’s view of her husband isn’t going to be altered anytime soon because right now, there isn’t any physical evidence to back up Amelia’s claims.
Will things begin to change if Lloyd wakes up, or dies?
