An EasyJet flight to Bristol had to divert last night after reports a bomb could be on board.
It landed in Prague instead of carrying on to the UK so the plane could be searched by police.
Nothing was found on the easyJet Flight 6276 in the end, which set off from Krakow in Poland.
It is not yet clear where the suspicion of a bomb on board initially came from.
Prague Airport tweeted in English yesterday: ‘At 10.50pm, a diverted aircraft landed safely at @PragueAirport on the Krakow-Bristol route.
‘There was reported a possible bomb on board an aircraft.
‘All actions to ensure the safety of passengers and all air traffic are currently being carried out by @PolicieCZ.’
Two hours later, they sent an update to say: ‘No dangerous object was found on the plane after the pyrotechnic inspection.’

The Czech Republic Police official account tweeted: ‘Our pyrotechnicians are currently on the scene and are investigating the presence of the reported explosive system.’
They also updated to say: ‘A pyrotechnic search did not find any dangerous object in the plane.’
EasyJet has been contacted for comment.
