David Cameron return to UK politics during the Israel-Gaza conflict and pro-Palestinian protests has raised questions about the potential impact on the UK’s Middle East policies.
Now serving as the foreign secretary, Cameron, who has previously referred to Gaza as “a prison camp” and supported a two-state solution, has historically been a strong supporter of Israel.
On October 9, amidst Israel’s declaration of a “total” blockade on Gaza in response to a Hamas attack, Cameron expressed his support for Israel.
