No ‘foreign intervention’ needed: Mexico thanks Trump but rejects offer of ‘help’ with drug cartels after the murder of US family
RT News says Mexico does not need “foreign intervention” to deal with its security issues, President Obrador has said. It comes after Donald Trump offered ‘help’ following the ambush and murder of an American family.
Trump tweeted that it was time for Mexico to wage war on drug cartels and “wipe them off the face of the earth” with “help” from the US. In an earlier tweet, he said the cartels “have become so large and powerful that you sometimes need an army to defeat an army.”
Nine family members with dual US-Mexican citizenship, mostly women and children, were gunned down after an ambush by criminal gangs.

Stormzy joined relatives in dismissing Rees-Moggs statement that the victims should have left the burning building.
The leader of the House of Commons issued “a profound apology” after he told an interviewer: “I think if either of us were in a fire, whatever the fire brigade said, we would leave the burning building. It just seems the common sense thing to do.”

British born Sikh couple claim they were banned from adopting a white child because they’re Asian
The Sun says a wealthy Sikh couple who claim they were stopped from adopting a white child because they’re Asian are suing a council. The couple has launched a discrimination case against the Royal Berkshire of Windsor and Maidenhead Adoptive Service.
But the council accused the pair of requesting a ‘white’ or ‘Hispanic’ child so it would look like them.
