A dispute over work issues ended in tragedy. On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, in Verbicaro, in the province of Cosenza, the Italian police of the Scalea company and the local station arrested a 40-year-old man red-handed for the murder of his uncle.
The man, a mechanic, was tracked down after killing his uncle, a 74-year-old, at the height of an argument that arose for trivial reasons attributable to disagreements in the workplace.
A call to 112, received on Wednesday afternoon around 6pm, reported the presence of a body inside a workshop in Verbicaro.
The police proceeded to identify the victim, owner of the workshop: Ugo Lofrano had several head injuries caused by a blunt force. And just a few meters away from the body the alleged murder weapon was found, a metal pipe with visible traces of blood, seized by the officers pending further investigations.
