What lengths will he go to? (Pictures: ITV)
David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is troubled in the aftermath of the first part of Coronation Street’s extremism storyline, as he desperately does his best to protect an already out of control Max Turner (Paddy Bever).
The start of 2023 sees Griff (Michael Condron) trick Spider (Martin Hancock) into thinking he’s planning something dangerous at the Town Hall – the same place Maria (Samia Longchambon) is holding a meeting about rebranding the Christmas Market into a Peace Festival.
As Spider comes face to face with Griff, who knocks him out cold with a crowbar, Max grows concerned after Lauren’s (Cait Fitton) dad tells them to steer clear from the market.
When the aftermath unfolds, Max is taken in for questioning but is later released without charge.
As Gail (Helen Worth) struggles to support her grandson, David is horrified when Daryan (Twana Omer) tells him that he heard arguing coming from inside his house.
