An accident at Aadi Alahan’s (Adam Hussain) flat in Coronation Street leaves him in serious danger in upcoming episodes.
At the start of January, it’s Aadi and Asha’s (Tanisha Gorey) birthday so Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is busy planning a special birthday meal.
Not exactly looking forward to it, Asha persuades Aadi to attend the birthday lunch. He says he’ll come along, and Asha perks up when Aadi says they can have a party afterwards at his flat.
As the twins plan their birthday bash, Asha is curious when she receives a call from her university. She tells Amy (Elle Mulvaney) that someone reported her mentor Isla for having an inappropriate interest in her and thinks she knows who it is.

Later in the week, while Dev serves their birthday lunch, Asha unwraps her present from Aadi and is shocked to find a beautiful bracelet inside.

Noting a guilty look, Asha demands Aadi explain himself and soon enough, Aadi and Nina (Mollie Gallagher) are forced to admit they shared a kiss.

Later, an emotional and angry Asha lets herself into Aadi’s flat to find him dozing on the sofa.
She hurls the bracelet at him and asserts that she never wants to see him again and storms out.

But unbeknownst to Asha, Aadi is actually lying unconscious in his flat with a broken carbon monoxide alarm on the side.
