The friends discover something online (Pictures: ITV)
Due to the fact Max Turner (Paddy Bever) is spreading false hate propaganda online in Coronation Street, two young Weatherfield residents are impacted by the extremism content – his sister, Lily (Brooke Malonie), and Stu Carpenter’s (Bill Fellows) granddaughter – Eliza (Savannah Kunyo).
Some manipulation by Griff (Michael Condron) has allowed Max to believe he’s doing the right thing by promoting lies and racist information.
He’s been appointed the gang’s official videographer, which means documenting things like Griff’s speeches and if they go wrong, editing them to make it look as though the audience agree with the views being projected.
As well as this, Griff has also asked Max to get children from Weathy High to join a forum – something Dylan (Liam McCheyne) liked the sound of but still remains unaware of the true danger to it.
At the start of 2023, Lily is at home with her brand new earpods in, listening to one of her brother’s propaganda videos.
She shows it to her new pal, Eliza, and promises to send the link across.

Once it’s sent to Eliza’s device, it isn’t long until Stu sees it and grabs the laptop, marching over to the Platt household to show David (Jack P Shepherd) and Shona (Julia Goulding) the video.
But what will they do?
With Max under Griff’s spell, will he even listen to David and Shona if they attempt to stop him?
Lily finds one of her brother’s propaganda videos online.
