This is the harrowing moment a paedophile was caught dragging a suitcase containing a 12-year-old girl into his flat after kidnapping her and telling her she would be his ‘sex slave’.

The footage, captured in Luziania, Brazil, shows 42-year-old Daniel Moraes Bittar struggling to pull the suitcase behind him up two flights of stairs after he kidnapped the girl from outside her school on 28 June.

Bittar, 42, was arrested in the evening of the sick crime after he was caught on CCTV and squirmed in front of police as he confessed the victim was in his home.

Police believe he was aided by a 23-year-old woman named Gesielly Souza who assisted him in committing the alleged crime.

Detectives claim that she allegedly got out of a car near the girl’s school, knocked her unconscious by holding a chloroform-soaked cloth over her face, and put the victim into the backseat.

Her legs were then cuffed and she was zipped up inside a suitcase, which was placed in the boot as they drove to a woodland area to dump her mobile phone.

But Bittar was arrested and later confessed to having ‘paedophilic inclinations’ when the alleged victim’s schoolfriend rang police after witnessing the horrific kidnapping.

The girl was later found inside the flat covered in bruises and chemical burns with her feet cuffed to the bed, according to police.

Examinations conducted after she was rescued also confirmed she was sexually assaulted.

In the police footage following the arrest, the cop can be heard asking Bittar: ‘Is the girl there in your house?’

After the suspect nods sheepishly and says ‘yes’, the officer asks: ‘What is she doing in your house?’

Bittar starts giving an incoherent reply and the policeman cuts him off, asking: ‘Where did you take her? Why did you take her? What did you do to her?’

The visibly-nervous suspect then claims: ‘She’s just there, I haven’t done anything to her yet.’

Examinations conducted after she was rescued also confirmed she was sexually assaulted.

Detective Joao Guilherme Medeiros told media: ‘The victim stated that Bittar touched her intimate parts and that she was forced to touch his genitals.

‘The girl said he threatened her all the time and said she would be his sex slave. He also filmed the abuses committed against the student and sent them to his girlfriend. The victim told us that he mentioned Geisy’s name on the phone.’

When the police first confronted Bittar, he denied everything and claimed the girl in his flat was a cousin, but later confessed and said he had considered ‘chemical castration’.

Electric shock devices, cameras, sex toys, and pornographic material were later found during a search of Bittar’s flat.

A petrol canister was also found at the scene, leading the police to believe he may have planned to burn the girl’s body after raping her.

Bittar was sacked from his job as an IT technician at Banco de Brasilia on 29th June, after the case had come to light.

In addition to his job, he also volunteered at children’s hospitals, and is the father of a girl.

Vieira, meanwhile, is a mother of two and presented herself on social media as a Christian.

Bittar had made several posts on social media condemning child abuse, including one reading: ‘Paedophilia is a crime. Report it’, according to police.

Mr Medeiros added: ‘Paedophiles disguise themselves as good people to approach children. I’m saying they act pragmatically.

‘We have come across several cases like this. That’s why parents need to be very careful. But even those of us who are experienced are shocked by what happened.’

The couple face charges of aggravated unlawful restraint, sexual abuse of a minor, and torture. They face up to 30 years in prison.
